Job summary

Bekaert is seeking a Technician based in Dundee, Scotland, responsible for the safe assembly and testing of products at Flintstone Technology. The ideal candidate will have an HNC in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing test and assembly procedures, conducting hydraulic and pneumatic testing, and ensuring compliance with internal management systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Flexibility and adaptability to prioritize tasks appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of test and assembly procedures.
• Ensure workshop is clean and tidy at all times.
• Testing of pressurised and load-bearing systems.

Skills

Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Understanding of fundamental engineering principles

HNC in an Engineering Discipline
