Job summary

Proactive Global in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the production team and support assembly, testing and quality inspection of complex electro‑mechanical systems. Working with the Production Team Lead and quality and engineering colleagues, you will assemble products to detailed instructions, test and verify against specifications, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electro-mechanical products and systems according to work instructions, drawings and specs.
• Use hand tools, machinery and equipment to assemble components and sub-assemblies.
• Ensure components are correctly fitted and meet quality standards.
• Follow production processes to ensure consistent results.
• Complete assembly within production timescales without compromising quality.
• Identify and report issues with components, drawings or BOMs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, efficient work area.
• Carry out functional testing and quality inspections on assemblies.
• Verify products against specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify, investigate and report faults or discrepancies during assembly and testing.
• Record test results and production information accurately.
• Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and procedures.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and training.
