Job summary

GSK’s Ware Site is a key manufacturing centre where Engineering Technicians support production activities and site operations. You will perform maintenance, calibration and fault finding across electrical, mechanical, and control systems within a regulated GMP environment, liaising with Quality, Validation and Production teams.

We offer varied shift patterns (24/5, 24/7) with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement, plus opportunities to work on new equipment and building services

Qualifications

Relevant engineering qualifications and/or experience (e.g. HNC/HND, Engineering Apprenticeship) and a good standard of numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on production and utilities equipment.
Calibrate critical process and utility equipment and fault-find control systems.
Support commissioning and installation of new equipment and project work.
Liaise with cross-functional teams (Quality, Validation, Production, Logistics, Technical).
Ensure compliance with safety and GxP guidelines, including ATEX, PUWER and LOTO.
