Job summary

SERB Pharmaceuticals in Wales is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform day-to-day repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant, with a focus on safe practices and timely reporting of hazards. You will support calibration regimes, share knowledge with the team, and assist in maintaining production readiness, meeting quality standards, and cost control across the site.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical/electrical experience, ability to read schematics, and a proactive

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Ability to understand electrical and control schematics.
• Experience with HVAC installation and testing desirable.
• Ability to fault find and repair automated plant (PLC/computer driven).
• Experience with steam generation or water filtration systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day repair and maintenance of electrical/mechanical plant.
• Carry out repairs safely and report unsafe practices to the Engineering manager.
• Support calibration regimes to satisfy planned maintenance system needs.
• Share engineering knowledge with the team to move toward a multi-skilled department.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support management commitments.
• Assist in keeping plant in good order for production, validation, and project needs.
