Port of Tilbury London Ltd is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electrical) to perform planned maintenance, fault finding, and minor installations across plant and equipment at the Grain Terminal. The role supports safe, efficient, and reliable operations in a busy port environment.
You will work a rotational shift pattern, including weekends, and bring experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. A strong emphasis on health and safety and teamwork is required.

Hours: 40 hours per week (Alternate shifts of 0600 to 1400 Monday to Friday, 1400 to 2200 Monday to Friday, 2200 to 0600 Sunday to Thursday)
Compensation: £57,190 + £5,254 Shift Allowance

The Port of Tilbury Grain Terminal is the UK's largest grain handling facility for both imports and exports, operating to food-grade standards through a state-of-the-art, fully automated and highly flexible terminal. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment and engineering systems, responding promptly to faults and breakdowns and helping ensure the Grain Terminal continues to operate safely, efficiently and reliably.
We are looking for a practical, safety-focused Engineering Technician with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment. You will be confident fault-finding on fixed plant and equipment, comfortable working as part of a collaborative engineering team, and flexible in supporting a rotational shift pattern, including weekends. Experience in grain, port, food-grade or similar operational environments would be beneficial.
