Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for our Bellshill dairy. You will perform maintenance across a range of plant equipment, identify root causes of breakdowns, and drive improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of automation and continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector and plant equipment.
• Apprenticeship completed with an electrical focus (preferred).
• ONC/HNC qualifications or equivalent recognised.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks to improve plant reliability.
• Identify root causes on unplanned breakdowns.
• Lead continuous improvement to cut downtime, energy use and costs.

Key responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineer

• Completion of a wide range of tasks, from general equipment maintenance to enhancing plant reliability.
• Actively identify root cause on unplanned breakdowns.
• Identifying and completing continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, save energy and reduce costs.

Who are we looking for?

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship
• HNC Electrical preferred, Mechanical with additional electrical qualification or competence
• Automation – Continuous improvement tools and techniques would be advantageous
• Experience within maintenance
• Manufacturing Industry Experience
• ONC/HNC Qualification
