Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients in Bellshill is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to maintain and improve dairy plant equipment on a 12-hour shift rotation. You will work on reliability, repairs and continuous improvement projects to cut downtime and energy use.

The role requires an apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in electrical or mechanical fields, and familiarity with automation and CI tools. We offer a pension, 5% annual bonus, life assurance, health support and a welfare app for 24/7 GP access.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
• ONC/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical with additional electrical qualification or competence would be advantageous.
• Automation - Continuous improvement tools and techniques would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Completion of a wide range of tasks, from general equipment maintenance to enhancing plant reliability.
• Actively identify root cause on unplanned breakdowns.
• Identifying and completing continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, save energy and reduce costs.
