Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to supervise a skilled team of engineers on site at Anwick. You will prioritise maintenance, drive PPMs and optimise factory efficiency, recording labour and parts in SAP.

The role requires an engineering qualification with 4+ years in industry, strong fault-finding in mechanical/electrical systems, solid IT skills, and proven leadership under pressure.

Qualifications

• Essential: Engineering qualification (time or skill-served).
• Minimum 4 years' industrial engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of engineers and technicians across the site.
• Prioritise and allocate maintenance activities to maximise factory efficiency.
• Drive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and accurately record labour and parts usage through SAP.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects and equipment modifications.
• Work closely with production teams to provide technical expertise and operational support.
• Ensure engineering documentation is completed accurately and maintained.
• Champion Health & Safety, environmental compliance and 5S workplace standards.
• Assist with training and developing engineering and operational teams.
