Mitie in Scotland is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to support the Engineering Manager in delivering engineering services across the Scottish administration office estate. You will supervise engineers and contractors, ensuring works are safe, compliant and delivered to high standards.

You will coordinate daily activities, manage maintenance tasks, review RAMS and permits, and drive engineering governance across sites, promoting a proactive, customer-focused engineering culture.

Formación

• Recognised electrical, mechanical or building services engineering background.
• Relevant engineering qualifications and trade experience.
• Experience supervising engineers, contractors or maintenance teams.
• Good understanding of planned and reactive building maintenance.
• Understanding of statutory compliance, health and safety, RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Experience managing specialist engineering suppliers and contractors.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Engineering Manager with day-to-day management of engineering services across the administration office portfolio.
• Provide visible, hands-on supervision and technical support to engineers and contractors.
• Coordinate daily engineering activities, workloads and priorities across the sites.
• Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is completed to programme and to the required technical standard.
• Manage and coordinate reactive maintenance, ensuring faults are appropriately prioritised, escalated and resolved.
• Supervise specialist suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to requirements.
• Carry out pre-work briefings and ensure RAMS, permits, SOPs and safe systems of work are understood by engineers and contractors.
• Monitor outstanding defects, remedial works and maintenance actions through to completion.
• Ensure statutory and mandatory maintenance activities are completed and evidenced.
• Support engineering audits, compliance reviews and site inspections.
