Job summary

H9 Talent Solutions are recruiting an experienced Building Services Supervisor (M&E) to join a large energy project in Scotland. You will coordinate and supervise mechanical and electrical building services, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, programme and quality standards.

The role requires strong HSEQ leadership, familiarity with 18th Edition BS 7671, and supervision of subcontractors on a major thermal energy project.

Qualifications

• HSEQ leadership experience on large industrial/energy projects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate interfaces and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and electrical building services installation and erection activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and interfaces with other contractors.
• Review RAMS and monitor compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Lead erection, coordination and progress meetings.
• Monitor programme, cost and quality and report progress.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and readiness for commissioning.
• Manage quality issues and notify the project team of deviations.
• Support final inspections, commissioning readiness and handover.

You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical and electrical building services on a major thermal energy project, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, programme and required quality standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and electrical building services installation and erection activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and interfaces with other contractors.
• Review RAMS and monitor compliance with project HSE requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Building Services / M&E Supervisor role on large industrial, thermal power or Energy
• Strong HSEQ leadership and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
• 18th Edition BS 7671.
• SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent.
• NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
