Job summary

Escape Recruitment Services Ltd in Nottingham is seeking an Engineering Storesperson to join an established engineering business. The role supports day‑to‑day workshop activities, manages stock and inventory, prepares customer orders and ensures operations run safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have experience in engineering stores, workshop operations or warehousing, strong stock control and IT system proficiency, including ERP and MS Office. Driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering stores, workshop operations or warehouse environments.
• Strong stock control and inventory management knowledge.
• Proficiency with IT systems, including ERP/stock management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support daily workshop and engineering stores operations.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Manage stock levels, consumables and inventory records.
• Use ERP and stock management systems to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and facilities.
• Ensure safe and correct storage of materials and equipment.
• Uphold housekeeping and health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and supply chain teams.
• Identify improvements for workshop and stores processes.
• Support general workshop and yard activities as needed.
