Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Stores Person/ Picker to join an established engineering business in Poole, with an immediate start available. This hands-on role supports the smooth flow of materials, parts and equipment across the operation.

You will be involved in receiving, picking, stock control and organising stores to keep production moving. The ideal candidate has experience in picking, is detail‑driven, reliable and proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced engineering

Qualifications

• Experience in picking is essential; stores experience is advantageous.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident handling stock and materials.
• Ideally experienced within an engineering or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming goods
• Picking and issuing materials and components
• Stock control and regular stock checks
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Preparing materials for engineering and production teams
