Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Engineering Shift Team Lead in Tewkesbury to supervise and develop an engineering team on a busy, automated FMCG site. You will mentor engineers, drive fault-finding and planned maintenance, and work closely with the Engineering Manager to hit departmental goals.

The role offers a competitive salary of £47,385 plus overtime, call-out payments, training and a clear progression path within a family-run but growing business.

Qualifications

• Electrically biased engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Supervisory / team lead experience.
• Experience with high-speed machinery in FMCG (or similar production environment) and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and mentor engineers; support the Engineering Manager to deliver departmental goals.
• Lead fault-finding, repairs, testing and PPM on high-speed automated machinery in an FMCG production environment.
• Shift pattern: Week 1 Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00, Week 2 Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45 + call-out rota approx. 1 week in 6.

In this role you’ll support the Engineering Manager, supervise and develop the engineering team, and lead fault-finding and planned maintenance across high-speed automated machinery on site.
