Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Engineering Shift Supervisor for a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in Milnrow. You will lead on-shift engineering activities, coordinate maintenance across high-speed lines and drive improvements to reduce downtime and improve OEE.

The role requires strong electrical fault-finding, a formal engineering qualification, and proven leadership within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification such as HNC or equivalent.
• Experience supervising or leading an engineering team within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety and manufacturing compliance requirements.
• Ability to drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
• Experience with OEE, root cause analysis and preventative maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team on shift and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Oversee fault-finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure production machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• Drive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement to maximise OEE.
