Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Shift Manager to lead the on-site maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, delivering both planned and reactive facilities management services.

In this role you will manage BMS/SCADA, including Schneider systems and lighting, supervise subcontractors, review RAMS, and ensure safe, compliant operations under the direction of the Senior Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and facilities management.
• Ability to manage and supervise contractors on-site.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with BMS/SCADA and lighting control.
• CDM compliance and RAMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical systems on site.
• Manage the BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Oversee the permittance of subcontractors, approve RAMS and issue sanctions to isolate.
• Check all PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and suitable manner.

Qualifications

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• C&G 2391.
• Experience in maintenance.
• SSoW permitting experience.
• Familiarity with Schneider BMS.
• HV Authorised.
