Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Engineering Shift Manager to deliver planned and reactive FM maintenance across on-site systems. You will manage M&E, BMS, HV SCADA, Schneider lighting, and coordinate subcontractors with RAMS approval and sanctions as needed.

Responsible for ensuring PPM checks, KPI/SLA performance, and safe operational execution under the Senior Operations Manager, with clear opportunities for long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and C&G 2391 qualifications.
• Experience in maintenance and managing M&E systems is essential.
• SSoW permitting knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with Schneider BMS and HV authorisation is expected.
• CDM experience is desirable for safe project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical systems on site.
• Oversee the BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Supervise subcontractors, approve RAMS and issue sanctions to isolate when needed.
• Check all PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed to ensure safe completion.

As the Engineering Shift Manager

You will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Engineering Shift Manager will be responsible for:

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical systems on site.
• Manage the BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Oversee the permittance of subcontractors, approve RAMS and issue sanctions to isolate.
• Check all PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and suitable manner.

To be successful for this Engineering Shift Manager role you must have:

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• C&G 2391.
• Experience in maintenance.
• SSoW permitting experience.
• Familiarity with Schneider BMS.
• HV Authorised.
• CDM experience
