Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Shift Supervisor to oversee a team of engineers in a critical environment, ensuring safe operation, maintenance, and high compliance. You will lead day and shift engineers, drive KPI achievement, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.

Candidates should have an electrical background with NVQ3 or equivalent, an electrical apprenticeship, and high‑voltage experience. IEE 18th Edition and IOSH certification are desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 Electrical installation completed.
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship held.
• HVAP qualification demonstrated or equivalent high‑voltage experience.
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations knowledge (desirable).
• IOSH Managing Safely certification (desirable).
• Equivalent mechanical qualifications considered with suitable experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise a team of day and shift engineers to achieve performance standards and KPIs.
• Ensure all planned maintenance is completed on scheduled dates and safety standards are maintained.
• Prioritise Statutory and Mandatory maintenance tasks and complete reactive tasks within priorities.
• Maintain compliance standards and accurately record work using IT systems and reporting tools.

The Multi Skilled Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for:

• Ensure all equipment and services are kept and functioning safely and efficiently.
• Lead and supervise a team of day engineers and shift engineers, ensuring performance standards and KPIs are achieved.
• Ensure all planned maintenance activities are completed in line with scheduled dates.
• Prioritise Statutory and Mandatory maintenance tasks and ensure reactive tasks are completed within required priorities.
• Maintain compliance standards and accurately record work using IT systems and reporting tools.

To be successful for this Multi Skilled Shift Supervisor role you must have:
