Job summary

Hyra is seeking an Engineering Quotations Coordinator in West Dunbartonshire. This position is permanent, full-time and onsite, focusing on managing enquiries from initial quote through to order handover.

You will act as the main contact for customers, produce accurate quotations, review technical information and coordinate internal teams to ensure timely delivery and profitability. A proactive, detail-oriented candidate with strong communication skills will excel.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent sales engineer experience.
• Ability to interpret technical product information.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage new customer enquiries and produce accurate, timely quotations.
• Review technical information and support proposals and tenders.
• Liaise with internal departments to deliver within costs and timescales.
• Act as central communication point for customers through the sales process.
• Identify opportunities to maximise margin and upsell products and services.
• Review orders and coordinate handover to stakeholders.
• Support annual pricing reviews and customer agreements.
• Build and develop long-term customer relationships to support growth.
