Job summary

Thales is offering a 3-4 year Technical Publications & Product Training Apprentice programme in Crawley. You will study towards a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship while gaining real-world experience in engineering and publication services.

The role blends on-campus study with hands-on work, develops skills across electronics, mechanical, software engineering, and ILS, and leads toward a permanent role after completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum five GCSEs at grades 9-4 in English and Maths.
• You will study towards a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship.
• Relevant BTEC, HNC, HND or degree holders are not eligible for this apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering knowledge and skills within the Technical Publications and Training Services department.
• Build technical expertise through a combination of on-the-job training and academic study.
• Support the team with service-engineering activities.
• Ensure work is delivered to deadlines and within budget.
• Perform tasks professionally, within your competence level, and under supervision.
