Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Project Manager for our Leeds Service Centre to lead complex service and overhaul projects for rotating equipment across energy, water, oil & gas sectors. You will manage delivery from initiation to close-out, acting as the main customer contact and coordinating engineering, operations and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience within engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial services.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects with commercial accountability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and risk management.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, motors or related industrial systems would be advantageous.
• A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing project delivery from initiation to close-out.
• Acting as the main customer contact for key accounts.
• Coordinating internal teams across engineering, operations, procurement and field service.
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets, risks and resource requirements.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and in line with customer expectations.
• Providing regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing commercial opportunities and project variations.
• Supporting outage planning and execution for critical customer sites.
• Building strong relationships that secure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
