Job summary

Sulzer Pumps (UK) Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex service and overhaul projects from Leeds Service Centre, coordinating engineering, operations, procurement and field service to meet customer commitments safely, on time and within budget.

The role involves acting as the main customer contact for key accounts, managing schedules and costs, and identifying commercial opportunities while building strong relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience within engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial services.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects with commercial accountability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and risk management.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, motors or related industrial systems would be advantageous.
• A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery from initiation to close-out.
• Act as the main customer contact for key accounts.
• Coordinate internal teams across engineering, operations, procurement and field service.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and in line with customer expectations.
• Provide regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and manage commercial opportunities and project variations.
• Support outage planning and execution for critical customer sites.
