Job summary

Sulzer, a leading engineering company, is seeking a Project Manager to deliver complex engineering and service projects from initiation to completion at our Birmingham Service Centre. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safe, compliant project delivery.

You should have proven PM experience in engineering or industrial services, strong stakeholder and communication skills, and a background in project controls. AP(M?)RINCE2/PMP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in engineering, manufacturing, industrial services or related technical environments.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• PM qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple engineering and service projects from initiation to completion.
• Acting as the primary contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement and operations.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitoring project performance and mitigating risks.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements.
