Job summary

Sulzer Pumps (UK) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for an initial 3-month contract at our Leeds Service Centre. You will lead complex service and overhaul projects, coordinating engineering, operations and field service teams to meet safety, time and budget targets.

As the primary contact for key accounts, you will manage schedules, budgets and risks while pursuing commercial opportunities and repeat business. APM/PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial services.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects with commercial accountability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Managing project delivery from initiation to close-out.
• Acting as the main customer contact for key accounts.
• Coordinating internal teams across engineering, operations, procurement and field service.
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets, risks and resource requirements.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and in line with customer expectations.
• Providing regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing commercial opportunities and project variations.
• Supporting outage planning and execution for critical customer sites.
• Building strong relationships that secure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
