Reed in Crawley is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of engineering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver projects, acting as the primary contact for clients and coordinating with site teams and senior management to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Formación

• Up to 1 year of experience in a project, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• A degree (minimum 2:2) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic practical engineering knowledge (through study, placements, or early career experience).
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Customer-focused mindset with some client-facing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Commercial awareness alongside technical understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
• A full UK driving licence (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Managing multiple engineering projects from initiation through to completion.
• Planning project timelines, coordinating resources, and supporting installations.
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicating with stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to senior management.
• Attending site visits, supporting installations and meeting clients.
• Monitoring progress, identifying risks and ensuring projects stay on track.
• Working closely with internal teams across engineering, manufacturing and operations.
