Job summary

BSI is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for its Hemel Hempstead testing laboratory. The role covers end-to-end project management of turnkey test rigs and equipment, from concept through build to handover, with a strong emphasis on safety, validation, and documentation.

Location is Hemel Hempstead; a professional PM background in engineering is required. The position offers a salary of £45,000–£50,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits, with close collaboration with internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects end-to-end.
• Experience with test equipment design, build and handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage turn-key projects from cradle to grave.
• Coordinate with lab SMEs, calibration, safety to define test rigs.
• Oversee design workload from concept to final output.
• Ensure validation and documentation for handover.
