Job summary

BSI is seeking an Asset Development Project Manager in Hemel Hempstead to oversee engineering projects from concept to handover. You will lead a team of Development Engineers, design state-of-the-art testing equipment, and ensure delivery across BSI testing laboratories.

Applicants should bring Prince2/PMI experience, strong stakeholder communication, and a track record in risk-based project management within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
• Project Management Qualification (Prince2, APM, PMI).
• CDM Regulations compliance.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• IOSH/ NEBOSH certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from initiation to completion within the Product Certification stream.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain timelines and quality.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, clients, partners, and regulators.
• Manage project budgets and allocate resources for optimal outcomes.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and proper documentation is maintained.
