Job summary

HDR in London is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering and consultancy projects up to £2M in value. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, risks and budget while safeguarding client satisfaction and technical excellence.

Reporting to Senior PM/Project Principal, you will uphold HDR quality processes, identify opportunities, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• CEng or working toward CEng is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and delivery of engineering and consultancy projects up to £2M in value.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to achieve objectives.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to HDR quality standards.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions where required.
• Develop clear project scopes, assumptions and deliverables.
• Identify scope changes and manage changes.
• Maintain project risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Support invoicing, project reporting and financial reviews.
• Coordinate client meetings, workshops and reviews.
• Ensure documentation is complete and maintained throughout the lifecycle.
