Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Manager in the United Kingdom to lead engineering and consultancy projects up to £2M in value. You will manage scope, schedule, risks and resources, ensuring quality and client satisfaction under HDR processes.

Based on a multi-site UK footprint (Glasgow, London, Manchester), you will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, drive delivery performance, and mentor junior staff within our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 7 years related experience; minimum 2 years project management.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards CEng.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily delivery of projects up to £2M in value.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans and resource plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with required quality standards.
• Identify and manage project scope changes and risks.
• Maintain project risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Monitor budgets and forecast resource utilisation.
• Develop positive client relationships and manage stakeholders.
• Promote HDR quality management across project delivery.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
