Job summary

Verteer Consulting is seeking an MRO Site Coordinator to own and manage engineering/MRO stores across two sites, Skipton and Keighley. The role focuses on stock control, replenishment and providing a responsive onsite service for engineers and maintenance teams.

The successful candidate will act as the client-facing on-site representative, coordinating with customer stakeholders to ensure parts availability and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering stores, MRO, maintenance or industrial supplies.
• Ability to own and manage onsite stores operation.
• Proven stock control and inventory management capability.
• Excellent communication with engineers and customer stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently in a customer environment.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of the onsite engineering/MRO stores operation.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, locations and inventory records.
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock.
• Pick and issue engineering parts, consumables and spares.
• Carry out stock checks, cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Monitor stock levels and support replenishment activity.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Ensure engineers have required parts and consumables to support operations.
• Liaise with customer engineering, maintenance and operational personnel.
• Act as a professional onsite representative of the service provider.
• Build strong working relationships with customer contacts.
• Respond to stock, parts and service queries.
• Identify recurring supply issues and opportunities to improve the stores operation.
• Support improvements in stock availability, organisation and service levels.
• Assist with sourcing or escalating non-standard customer requirements where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure stores area remains organised, safe and efficient.
• Travel between Skipton and Keighley as required.
