Decarbonisation / Energy Efficiency - Building Services

Circular Resourcing is recruiting an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) for a well-established consulting and engineering business in the Building Services sector.

Our client offers decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services and commercial real estate sectors. They seek an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop solutions that increase market share.

• Location: Central London, with hybrid working options.
• Salary: Negotiable, based on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of M&E Design Engineers, overseeing project activities.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to develop customized solutions.
• Assist in developing client proposals with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.
• Plan projects, resources, and budgets with the PMO team.
• Prioritize projects and resources to meet deadlines.
• Conduct detailed surveys of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare energy audit reports and recommendations.
• Perform building analysis using simulation software.
• Compile GHG emissions reports.
• Conduct feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation.
• Create financial models for building services upgrade projects.
• Oversee building services upgrade and refurbishment projects with the PMO team.
• Deliver ESOS assessments (training provided).
• Conduct Non-Domestic EPCs up to Level 5 (training provided).
