A well-established consulting and engineering business is seeking an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to lead a technical engineering team in the Building Services sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director to create innovative energy efficiency solutions and manage a team of engineers in a hybrid working environment based in London.

Circular Resourcing are recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business across the Building Services sector.

Our client offer a range of decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services / commercial real estate sectors and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and work closely with the Commercial Director to create solutions to increase market share for the business.

• Location: Great central London location, hybrid working options.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Manage a team of M&E Design Engineers, supervising their project related activities.
• Liaise with client stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions.
• Development of client proposals in partnership with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.
• Develop project, resource & budget plans with the PMO team.
• Prioritise projects & resources to ensure the achievement of project deadlines.
• Undertake the detailed Surveying of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare energy audit/review reports/ and recommendations
• Perform building analysis using simulation software
• Prepare GHG emissions reports
• Perform feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation
• Create financial models for building services upgrade projects (
• Overseeing building services upgrade & refurbishment projects with PMO team
• Deliver ESOS assessments ( Training provided)
• Conduct Non-Domestic EPC’s up to Level 5 – (Training Provided)
