Decarbonisation / Energy Efficiency - Building Services

Location: London

Circular Resourcing is recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business in the Building Services sector.

Our client offers a range of decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services and commercial real estate sectors. They are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop solutions that increase market share.

• Location: Central London, with hybrid working options.
• Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of M&E Design Engineers and overseeing project activities.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to develop tailored solutions.
• Creating client proposals with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.
• Developing project, resource, and budget plans with the PMO team.
• Prioritising projects and resources to meet deadlines.
• Conducting detailed surveys of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Preparing energy audit reports and recommendations.
• Performing building analysis using simulation software.
• Preparing GHG emissions reports.
• Carrying out feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation.
• Creating financial models for building service upgrade projects.
• Overseeing building service upgrade and refurbishment projects with the PMO team.
• Delivering ESOS assessments (training provided).
• Conducting Non-Domestic EPCs up to Level 5 (training provided).
