Decarbonisation / Energy Efficiency - Building Services

Circular Resourcing is recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business in the Building Services sector.

The client offers decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services and commercial real estate sectors. They seek an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop solutions that increase market share.

Location: Central London, with hybrid working options.

Salary: Open to realistic expectations to attract the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of M&E Design Engineers, overseeing project activities.
• Liaise with client stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions.
• Develop client proposals with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.
• Create project, resource, and budget plans with the PMO team.
• Prioritise projects and resources to meet deadlines.
• Conduct detailed building surveys to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare energy audit and review reports with recommendations.
• Perform building analysis using simulation software.
• Generate GHG emissions reports.
• Conduct feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation.
• Create financial models for building services upgrade projects.
• Oversee building services upgrade and refurbishment projects with the PMO team.
• Deliver ESOS assessments (training provided).
• Conduct Non-Domestic EPCs up to Level 5 (training provided).
