Job summary

TT Electronics, Eastleigh, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Design & Engineering Department, oversee product design, KPI reporting, and NPI, while driving Lean/5S improvements within engineering.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, experience in HMI design, and strong leadership with a focus on documentation and ISO/AS quality standards. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in HMI design applications.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Supervisory or project leadership experience.
• Strong focus on record keeping and documentation.
• Understanding of ISO & AS requirements for quality audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Effective management of the Design & Engineering department to maximise utilisation and efficiency.
• Monitor project work assignments to ensure milestones are achieved and transferred to Production.
• Collate and manage Divisional / Group KPI requirements including monthly reports.
• Ensure new business provides total budgeted margins and track costs through design to manufacturing.
• Lead Lean / 5S implementation and sustainability efforts; develop tools and production aids.
