Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven leadership on complex engineering projects including architecture and reviews.
• Experience guiding engineers through technical direction, coaching, and delegation.
• Strong track record delivering cross-functional collaborations with Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, SQL/MySQL, and cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term strategic direction for your team and product suite.
• Act as a technical project manager: scheduling, release planning, backlog management, and removing blockers.
• Coordinate with US and UK teams to align technology with business goals.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, pairing, feedback, and delegated ownership.
• Manage 1:1s, set clear expectations, and foster an inclusive team environment.
