Based in Coventry, UK, you’ll work with Product Managers and Engineers on end‑to‑end initiatives, promote agile practices, recruit diverse talent, manage budgets, and ensure service reliability while advancing AI‑powered improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams.
• Experience with AI technologies in product delivery.
• Strong background in scalable distributed systems and backend engineering.
• Solid knowledge of API design and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with testing, observability, and operational practices.
• Experience with databases and data stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable the delivery of technology solutions that create value, drive efficiency, and increase performance for the business.
• Line manage and guide a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring end-to-end technical delivery.
• Mentor and coach team members, recruit diverse talent, and promote collaboration and respect.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define the vision and technical direction of products.
• Drive development of new features and promote agile/lean delivery methodologies.
• Manage budgets and ensure adherence to processes and standards.
