Marks & Spencer plc (UK) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams across Oracle HCM-based SaaS platforms. You will shape the technical roadmap, mentor engineers and partner with Product, Architecture and SaaS partners to deliver scalable HR solutions that support recruitment, talent, learning, and core HR workflows.

You'll drive a strong DevOps culture, manage stakeholders, and ensure architectural integrity while exploring AI-enabled enhancements to improve colleague

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering complex enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud solutions within large organisations.
• Deep functional expertise across Recruitment, Talent Management, Learn, Core HR and Helpdesk processes and technologies.
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives, project delivery and operational support.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Own the technical roadmap across Recruitment, Talent, Learn, Helpdesk and Core HR platforms, ensuring scalable, secure and supportable solutions.
• Partner with Product, Architecture and Engineering leadership to prioritise work and deliver strategic outcomes through agile delivery.
• Drive SaaS innovation and adoption, including quarterly release management, platform enhancements and AI opportunities.
• Ensure operational excellence through proactive maintenance, robust support processes and a strong DevOps culture.
