Allegis Global Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations at a flagship Canary Wharf site. You will oversee two shift teams, manage critical building systems, and serve as the key liaison between client stakeholders and the engineering team.

The role focuses on service delivery, safety, and performance improvements within a high-profile corporate environment. Extensive experience in large facilities and strategic reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a critical environment (3+ years).
• Experience leading engineering or facilities teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with client liaison experience.
• Experience in large commercial, banking, critical facilities, or data centre environments.
• Proven track record improving service delivery and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams across two shift groups.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, and critical building systems, ensuring reliability.
• Manage preventative maintenance, reactive work, audits and inspections.
• Act as main engineering contact for client stakeholders and vendors.
• Drive operational efficiency, monitor KPIs and reporting, and ensure safety compliance.
