Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations at a flagship Canary Wharf site. You will oversee two shift teams, manage critical building systems, and serve as the key liaison between client stakeholders and the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams across two shift groups.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, and critical building systems, ensuring reliability.
• Manage preventative maintenance, reactive work, audits and inspections.
• Act as main engineering contact for client stakeholders and vendors.
• Drive operational efficiency, monitor KPIs and reporting, and ensure safety compliance.

Hours: Mon–Fri | 8:00am–5:30pm

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations at a flagship corporate site in Canary Wharf.

You’ll manage two engineering shift teams, oversee critical building infrastructure, drive service delivery, and act as the key link between client stakeholders and the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead and develop engineering teams.
• Manage performance, training, and succession planning.
• Promote safety, accountability, and service excellence.

Operations

• Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and critical building systems.
• Manage PPMs, reactive maintenance, audits, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with PTW, ATW, and client procedures.
• Support BAS/BMS and smart building operations.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main engineering contact for client stakeholders.
• Manage contractors and specialist vendors.
• Support engineering projects and site improvements.
• Drive operational efficiency and service improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and engineering performance.
• Produce accurate reports and compliance documentation.
