Job summary

MAC Group Ltd in Lincoln, United Kingdom, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead onsite engineering teams and drive projects from feasibility through to completion, on time and within budget.

You will work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Quality and Project Management, providing technical leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables across civil infrastructure projects. Some hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (Master’s preferred).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) status preferred.
• 8+ years civil engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• CSCS and ideally SMSTS, and First Aid at Work.
• Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure design, construction and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of site engineers.
• Oversee project resourcing, scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Procurement, Quality and Project Management.
• Manage budgets, costs and contract negotiations; oversee risks and delivery.
