Searchability is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing software engineering team in a hybrid Liverpool-based role. You will own performance, career development, and engineering standards while shaping culture and elevating delivery in an AI-first environment.

The role focuses on mentoring senior engineers, collaborating with Product and leadership, and driving best practices across a modern tech stack including Node.js, TypeScript, React, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing Software Engineering teams.
• Strong software engineering background with hands-off leadership.
• Experience with 1-2-1s, coaching, performance and career development.
• Solid understanding of agile software delivery and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
