Job summary

Ledgy is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of its feature teams and shape compensation and savings platforms. You will coach engineers, set direction, and stay hands-on as needed, while promoting responsible AI practices. The role supports hybrid work for London-based candidates and remote work across the UK and Europe.

You’ll work with teams on equity plans, pensions, carry, and related flows, driving technical and product decisions in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Engineering Management and 6+ years as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with product-focused or domain-heavy roles.
• Comfort using AI tools in engineering work and applying them responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of engineers with regular 1:1s and performance conversations.
• Set technical and product direction with the team and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to turn complex needs into usable product experiences.
• Model responsible AI-assisted engineering practices and guide day-to-day work.
