Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd at our Leicester site seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a 7-strong maintenance team and drive reliability across heavy plant. You will plan and supervise all repair activities, implement procedures and manage budgets in a days-based role.

Applicants should have completed a full mechanical/electrical apprenticeship with experience as a maintenance/engineering manager; plastics/heavy machinery exposure is advantageous.

• Minimum full apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience as maintenance/engineering manager.
• Experience in plastics or heavy machinery environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all machinery.
• Managing a team of 7.
• Planning & managing all repair & install activities.
• Supervising & leading all maintenance processes & operations.
• Creating & implementing maintenance procedures.
• Budget control.
• Ensure all PPMs are completed.
• Adhere to H&S.
• Recruit on staff.

Engineering Manager

Location: Leicester

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Pension + Bens

Shift Pattern: Days based Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm

The Company

My client is processor/manufacturer within its field of plastic recycling. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having 8 recycling sites across the UK. The Loughborough site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Maintenance/Engineering Manager Experience.
• Heavy Industrial Engineering Experience.

The Role
