Job summary

Kinetic Industrial are assisting a precision engineering company in Middleton to recruit an Engineering Labourer. You will work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with hours Mon–Thu 07:40 to 16:30 and Fri 07:40 to 12:20.

Responsibilities include removing finished components, deburring parts, assisting machine operators, and, if licensed, operating a stacker truck. The role emphasizes good communication and safe, clean working practices.

Qualifications

• Experience within an Engineering environment.
• Deburring experience.
• Stacker Truck Licence would be a big advantage.
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
• Experience with working alongside machinery.

• Product Removal - Safely remove finished components from punched or lasered metal sheets.
• Deburring Work - Carry out deburring of metal parts using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring all edges are smooth, clean, and compliant.
• Machine Assistance - Support machine operators by helping set up equipment, loading materials, monitoring production runs.
• Stacker Truck Operation - Operate a stacker truck (if licensed).
• Workplace Cleaning - regularly clearing waste, sweeping workstations, and following housekeeping standards.

Kinetic Industrial are assisting a Precision Engineering company in Middleton with recruiting an Engineering Labourer. You will be based within a state of the art manufacturing plant working for a company who have been established for over 50 years.

You will be working Temporary to Permanent, Mon to Thursday 07:40 to 16:30 and Friday 07:40 to 12:20

As the engineering labourer you will be tasked with:

• Product Removal - Safely remove finished components from punched or lasered metal sheets
