Job summary

Solihull College & University Centre is seeking an ambitious Programme Manager to lead and develop our Engineering provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced curriculum professional to play a significant leadership role within one of the College's largest and most strategically important curriculum areas.

Working closely with the Head of School, you will drive improvements in learner outcomes, lead and develop curriculum teams, strengthen employer engagement, and ensure

Qualifications

• Degree or significant engineering industry experience.
• Experience teaching in Further Education.
• Experience leading curriculum provision and staff performance.
• Strong focus on quality improvement and learner outcomes.
• Data-driven approach to identify issues and interventions.
• Ability to build relationships with employers and partners.
• Collaborative leadership and commitment to learner success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of teachers, assessors and technical staff.
• Drive improvements in attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
• Use data to identify priorities and deliver measurable improvement.
• Support curriculum planning, innovation and quality improvement activity.
• Develop strong partnerships with employers and stakeholders to enhance learner opportunities.
• Contribute to staff development, performance management and succession planning.
• Help deliver an ambitious learner experience preparing students for employment, apprenticeships and higher-level study.
