Metro Rod Ltd in East Kilbride is seeking an organised Operations Coordinator to support our busy depot. You will schedule work for engineers, handle a range of admin tasks and liaise with customers to ensure first-class service.

The role suits someone with strong IT and office-skills, able to cover on-call hours some days, and who thrives in a fast-paced blue-collar environment. Experience in construction or maintenance sectors preferred; training provided; friendly team.

Qualifications

• Experience in admin and customer service within a busy environment (blue-collar or similar).
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work for engineers and handle relevant administration.
• Liaise daily with internal and external customers to ensure a first-class service.
• Maintain relationships with engineers and customers and support depot operations.
• Provide general office support and adapt to a busy environment.
