Job summary

TalentStack Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Delivery Manager / Senior Project Manager for an established engineering technology business. You will join the Senior Leadership Team, own engineering delivery across software, hardware and testing, and lead a multidisciplinary team of about six engineers.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery and engineering delivery leadership across software and hardware.
• Experience delivering software, technology or engineering-led projects.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate technical teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and practical implementation.
• Ownership of project budgets, scope, resources and deadlines.
• Experience managing external suppliers or development partners.
• Solid commercial awareness and ability to balance technical and business needs.
• Confident interaction with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Able to operate effectively in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Own multiple engineering and product delivery projects end-to-end.
• Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources and dependencies.
• Run effective Agile delivery processes and team stand-ups.
• Translate customer and commercial requirements into clear engineering priorities.
• Keep Software, Hardware and Test teams focused on agreed outcomes.
• Manage customer and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate third-party engineering and development partners.
• Manage external suppliers commercially and operationally.
• Identify risks early and drive issues through to resolution.
• Oversee testing, trials and real-world product deployments.
• Provide leadership with clear visibility across project status and risk.
• Bring greater structure, accountability and commercial discipline to engineering delivery.
