Job summary

Leeds City College is recruiting an Engineering Teacher with a specialism in Machining and CNC to join our dynamic team. Based at the Printworks Campus, you will shape the next generation of engineers through innovative teaching practices and industry-aligned methods.

You will deliver across awarding bodies such as EAL and T levels (currently C&G) for full-time and apprentice learners, with a focus on Milling, Turning and CNC.

Qualifications

• Engineering Teacher with a specialism in Machining and CNC.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Ability to inspire and engage learners from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment with engaging lessons.
• Plan and deliver learning resources and assessments to drive progress.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback with SMART targets.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course reviews and QA processes.
• Support student recruitment, induction and progression.
• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and engage in professional development.
