As an Engineering Assessor at Printworks Campus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include managing a caseload of apprentice learners. You may be required to design and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience and ensure that students are well-prepared for careers in various engineering fields.

The salary for this role is £31,916 with progression to £35,912, plus a yearly market supplement for the right candidate. In addition, you could be eligble for a one-off attraction payment of £3,000. (This payment is split into 2 halves - £1,500 will be paid on commencement of the role and £1,500 to be paid on successfully passing probation). There may be scope for this role to be classified as a Lead Assessor - this will be discussed with candidates at interview. Our Assessor salary band is £31,916 to £35,912 and Lead Assessor salary band is £34,869 to £40,410.The focus of this role is to visit our partner employers and assess apprentices studying the engineering apprenticeship standards. You'll complete administrative work connected with the assessments and apprenticeships and provide prompt and constructive feedback to candidates soon after assessment.
