Job summary

Leeds City College is seeking an Engineering Assessor to join our team at Printworks Campus. You will manage a caseload of apprentice learners, assess progress, and deliver engaging lessons in milling, turning and CNC to Level 2 and Level 3 students.

The role offers collaboration with employers and internal teams, with potential progression towards Lead Assessor and a competitive salary. The college supports CPD and diverse development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Engineering.
• Experience working within the Engineering Industry.
• In-depth teaching experience in milling, turning and CNC.

Responsibilities

• Visit partner employers to assess apprentices.
• Plan and deliver high-quality Engineering lessons for Level 2 and Level 3 learners.
• Develop curriculum materials to meet learner needs.
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress.
• Coordinate with employers, mentors, IQAs and award bodies to ensure smooth delivery.
